I am the current Chairman of KNWA since Nov 2019. I live and work in Nottingham City together with my family.
I am a founder member of KNWA and am pleased to still be an active member. We have achieved a lot since our inception in June 2011.
I am very passionate about being part of building a strong and stable Kenyan Community in Nottingham which is united and prosperous in all aspects of society activity.
My desire is to see a community, that is fully integrated and recognizable for its acts of charity, compassion and kindness.

My name Mercy Phillips, I am the KNWA Secretary. I have been a member since 2013 and joined the Executives committee in 2018, and I have been in my current role since November 2019. I am George Kinyatti, Orgernising Secretary of KNWA. I have been in the chama since 2011. I am very passionate about organising events for the Kenyan Community in Nottingham and sometimes around other parts of the UK. In 2013 i was elected as a member of executive, and then in 2019 i was elected as organising secretary, I love seeing Kenyans embrace their own artists,culture & traditions.
